As we come into the new year we also find ourselves in yet another sale season. The 2008/09 Black Harvest bull development is under way with a new pen of bulls. This year we have sons from the Legacy, Nugget and Forte lines.

Breet is in his second year of playschool and both him and Carter attend the local daycare the days Cheryl works in town. Cheryl works a couple days a week at the vet clinic and three days a week, every other week at our friends furniture store.

We are utilizing different methods of feeding cattle and bale grazing is the big one. So chores are not what they used to be. Also calving doesn't commence until March so some much appreciated down time is being carried out (hence this new update).
